To Cure Man  is a horror, narrative, puzzle game where You run a local apothecary and have many local customers that seek your help. At night you do endless research to find  the sorcerer's stone, a universal cure to all ailments. 

Your control is the left mouse button.

This game prototype was created by inkyen and E.S. for the Pirate Software Game Jam 15. You can find inkyen on Twitch and instagram with the same name.

Future Plans

  • Build a mini game for poisonous ingredients. A win will give the correct dose. A loss will give a lethal or ineffective dose.
  • Expand number of days
  • Expand diseases
  • Expand number of ingredients
  • Add more branching paths for choices
  • More red herrings
  • More fun character design
  • More and complete story

Cute game with very interesting artistic style!

UI could show the tips if you click on an ingredient - would be a bit more intuitive. Also Music loop is quite short so you should use a longer loop.

I see a lot potential in this one as well! :D

I played the game again.
After the demon visits you on day 1, it says Day 3: The Gift. Shouldn't it be Day 2? Did I skip a day by accident?
And I still love your game :D

No you didn't skip anything by accident. There's a day 2 on a different choice. When you sacrifice something you kinda need a day off because choices hurt.

The game looks great graphically. I couldn't figure out how to give someone what they wanted, but i see a lot of potential here! good job! keep making games!

If your problem is:

  • What are the right ingredients to solve the problem?
    • In the ailments tab you will cross reference the symptoms mentioned with the the diseases. Press the arrow buttons to flip through. Then you will choose the corresponding ingredients in the ingredient tray below to solve each. if you forget you can go back to the customer tab to reread.
  • It's hard to select the ingredients in the ingredient tray.
    • I'm sorry! The collision boxes on the ingredients in the tray are small so you might have to be a little precise where you click.
