love the art!! also love the simple but effective way you guys communicated the story just through visuals

Thank you so much for playing! I'm so glad the story was understood just through visuals. We were so worried about that. XD

This was a super clever game!! I look forward to seeing it continue to grow, and give you huge props on what you've completed so far in a short amount of time!

I played it twice, and the second time I realized that there was animation and lovely illustrations I didn't see the first time because I clicked to continue progress and accidentally skipped them!

Thank you so much for playing our game and for the kind comment and support! We'll definitely work on the skip function so people won't be able to accidently miss some scenes.  <3

Though this game might be short, throughout its runtime, it shows a huge amount of heart, soul and personality. The art on this is simply extraordinary. The logo caught my eye a lot! Then, there's the cutscenes and the animation during gameplay. Something about the color palette, the cute and beautiful art and the animation style just gives the game a LOT of charm. This also extends to the UI box of the timing minigame, which looks awesome!

The concept of the story is a cool twist on Excalibur. The sword itself not wanting to be used for violence any longer and having that be the "Why?" of why it's so heavy to pull off is interesting! I see a lot of interesting possibilities for that set up.

The music is very fitting and perfectly achieves the atmosphere you guys were going for. Gives a fantasy, magical, light and humorous feeling to the game. Very pleasant!

Also, love the designs of the frog and the strong guy. The strong guy's especially. Who would have thought that such a mighty warrior would've been wearing socks?

Would love to see more. I like this a lot!

Yeah, it was definitely a struggle to try to keep our personality in something with such a short time through but I'm very happy that you still get the feeling despite that. Hopefully in further development we can show all the cool ideas/mechanics we didn't have time for.  Thank you for noticing the effort despite the hilariously short gameplay and hope to honor that and carry on the energy through the rest of our game development journey.

Thank you so much for taking the time to review and play our game!

Really awesome that you put this together in such a short amount of time! I love the color scheme and illustrations. The lil animations were so cute too!

Looking forward to seeing what else you make next!!!

thank you so much for taking the time to play our little game and leaving a comment  as well! We can't wait to make the game in full and I'm super glad to hear you loved the art!
